I'm looking for information about the Hopf coordinates in the 3-sphere. I do not have the slightest idea of where I can find something (a bit more elaborated than Wikipedia of course!). Can anyone give me a hand?

They seem to be related to quaternions, but if I understood correctly, the somewhat strange rules of the product of the latter are not involved in Hopf coordinate transformation, is it true?
