Of course, nothing can replace face-to-face meetings. But online meetings makes many events inexpensively possible, no matter where we live. Technically, it seems that we have the technology these days, and I am almost sure people have started this. All you need is a computer, probably something like an electronic pen to give your lectures on as if you are using a blackboard or whiteboard, and some good software to make all the video/audio connections compatible with the writing. Please share with me your experiences, suggestions and comments on this topic. In particular, what would you do when you want to talk mathematics with your colleague who lives far from you in a way that resembles your face-to-face meeting in a class with a board? What hardwares and softwares would you suggest? Obviously, Skype alone is not the solution: where is the blackboard to share your formulas and live writings with each other?</p>
