<p>I'm dutch and we always play the game of risk as follows: After the attacker has thrown the maximum of dice say three, the defender can still decide to throw either 1 or 2 dice. So if the attacker has trown 3 sixes, the defender will always decide to throw only one dice. My question; At wich possible outcomes of the attackers throw is it best for the defender to only throw one dice instead of two?</p>
