<p>In <a href="http://projecteuclid.org/DPubS?service=UI&amp;version=1.0&amp;verb=Display&amp;handle=euclid.pja/1195518347" rel="nofollow">this paper</a>, Shintani proves the Casselman-Shalika(-Shintani) formula for GL(n). This preceded Casselman-Shalika's <a href="http://www.numdam.org/item?id=CM_1980__41_2_207_0" rel="nofollow">paper</a> by a few years. Several of <a href="http://www.math.osu.edu/~cogdell.1/" rel="nofollow">Cogdell's</a> expository articles on L-functions have easy-to-read descriptions of the formula.</p>
